Our reports combine organised findings, clear photographs and straightforward explanations. We aim to make building information easier to understand, so you can speak with your builder, agent or other advisers from a more informed position.

A few useful things to know before booking an inspection.
For an established property purchase, a pre-purchase building inspection is the usual starting point. If you also want pest-related observations, choose the building & pest option. New builds are generally better suited to stage inspections or a Practical Completion Inspection (PCI) near the end of construction.
Turnaround depends on the inspection type and booking time. If you have a contract, settlement or handover deadline, include it in your enquiry so timing can be discussed before confirmation.
Where access and site conditions allow, attendance can often be discussed. The report will still be prepared to clearly record the inspection findings.
Yes. New build stage inspections and a Practical Completion Inspection (PCI) can help identify visible defects and incomplete work before the next construction milestone or the owner’s handover process with the builder.
No. A PCI is an independent visual inspection near the end of construction that can support your final walkthrough and discussions with the builder. It does not replace the builder’s contractual completion process, required inspections by the Relevant Building Surveyor, or an occupancy permit.
